Angel Reese admires DiJonai Carrington's latest selfies with 2 words
Angel Reese reacted to fellow WNBA star DiJonai Carrington's selfies with a two-word message. The Chicago Sky forward added a couple of emojis to describe how she felt about Carrington's Saturday post on X (formerly Twitter).
After the Connecticut Sun's player shared four selfies on social media, the rookie shared a message of admiration.
"face cardddd😫😍," Reese quote-tweeted Carrington's post.
This isn't the first time Reese and Carrington have interacted on social media.
After a season in which she became a more consistent player and delivered on both ends of the field, Carrington received 28 of 67 votes from a national panel of sportswriters and broadcasters to win the 2024 WNBA Most Improved Player of the Year award.
Carrington took to X/Twitter to celebrate this achievement with a short message.

She shot 40.3% from the field and 79.0% from the free-throw line in 39 games played.
As for Angel Reese, \her season was cut short due to a wrist injury. That said, she still managed to score 13.6 ppg, grab 13.1 rpg, dish 1.9 apg and steal 1.3 balls per game. She shot 39.1% from the floor and 73.6% from the free-throw line for a Chicago Sky team that lost the No. 8 seed in the standings in the final week of the regular season.

Angel Reese and DiJonai Carrington share more than a supposed friendship. Both players will play under new coaches next season, as they try to get closer to an WNBA championship.
