Angel Reese balances basketball with new dream, vows to walk in Victoria's Secret Fashion Show: "Mark my words"

Angel Reese is determined not to limit her success to just the basketball court. On Oct 15, the Chicago Sky star attended a Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in New York, and just a month later, Reese vowed that she would one day walk for one of the brand's iconic fashion shows.

The WNBA player took to her Instagram story to express her ambition, posting a picture of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show billboard. Below the picture, Reese wrote:

"I'm going to walk in a VS Fashion Show! Mark my words," Reese wrote in the caption.

In the last few weeks, Reese has been a consistent name in the fashion world. On October 29, she turned heads when she arrived at the red carpet of the 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards in New York, wearing a stunning white gown.

Moreover, Angel Reese is already in the gym, preparing for the inaugural Unrivaled season. The Sky player, apart from several other big names in the WNBA, will take part in the 3X3 Unrivaled league, which is set to begin in January 2025.

In October, Angel Reese joined her former Chicago Sky teammate Kysre Gondrezick for the VS's fashion show in New York. She attended the show in a red crochet dress, which immediately caught the attention of the fashion and the WNBA world. Her outfit received a lot of appreciation from people around and outside the league.

When Reese posted a series of pictures from the night on her Instagram, one of the first people to post their comment on the post was Carmelo Anthony's ex-wife, LaLa Anthony.

"My baby😍😍😍," LaLa wrote in the comment.

Music sensation Megan Thee Stallion also dropped her comment.

"Omg😍😍😍😍," Stallion wrote.

Her fellow WNBA player and LA Sparks star Cameron Brink also commented.

"I’m obsessed 😍😍😍," wrote Brink.

LSU Tigers gymnast Livy Dune also commented on the post.

"Angel 😍," she wrote.

Two other comments that stood out in the comment section were from Dallas Wings star Satou Sabally and former WNBA legend Lisa Leslie.

"Snapped," Sabally wrote.

"Okay!!!! I like Sophisticated Barbie❤️," wrote Leslie.
