Angel Reese has wholesome emoji-filled reaction after young fan poses Reese's Pieces ft. Sky star on the cover
WNBA star Angel Reese shared a fan post on Instagram stories featuring her Reese's Pieces cereal. Reese has a sponsorship with the popular candy brand owned by the Hersey Company. They released several items featuring the Chicago Sky forward in August.
In an Instagram story, Reese shared a post from a fan posing with one of her cereal boxes called Reese's Puffs. She was overjoyed by the support from the young fan, filling it up with emoji reactions such as teary-eyed and hearty eyes.
Some of the items launched by the company along with Angel Reese are jerseys, jackets, hoodies, caps and shirts.
Reese also released a limited-edition Reese's Pieces and Reese's Puffs featuring the face of the Chicago Sky star. The cereal puffs have four unique back packaging, which make them potential collector's items.
"I'm so excited to partner with such an iconic brand," Reese said in a statement back in September.
"Not only does this fulfill my childhood dream of being on a cereal box, but there couldn't be a better fit for me to join forces with than REESE'S PUFFS cereal. This collaboration is such an honor, and I can’t wait for fans to get their hands on the cereal box and see what’s next in this partnership."
While Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are made by the Hershey Company, the Reese's Cereal Puffs are manufactured by General Mills. The collaboration wasn't a surprise considering it's obvious given Angel's last name.
The Sky star was already one of the most popular women's basketball players in the sport before entering the WNBA. It was only a matter of time before more sponsorships came knocking.
Angel Reese also signed a deal with Reebok
In addition to Reese's, Angel Reese is the face of the women's basketball section of Reebok. The popular shoe brand relaunched its basketball division, bringing in Shaquille O'Neal and Allen Iverson. O'Neal and Reese are from LSU and have an uncle-niece-like relationship.
"Reebok and Angel are growing together every day and our visions for the future are aligned," Reebok's head of basketball Jide Osifeso said, according to ESPN. "We're excited to continue the relationship with a ground-up build of her signature silhouette."
Reebok will release Reese's first signature shoe in 2026, joining a short list of WNBA players with their own signature shoe. Sabrina Ionescu, A'ja Wilson and Caitlin Clark are signed by Nike, while Breanna Stewart and Sydney Colson are signed by Puma and Creative Control, respectively.
