The New York Liberty recorded a 91-82 comeback win over the Atlanta Dream on Tuesday. With the victory, the Liberty secured the series 2-0 and advanced to the next round. Meanwhile, the Dream's season came to an end as they crashed out in the first round.
The Liberty, which topped the Dream by 14 points (83-69) in Game 1, will face either the Las Vegas Aces or the Seattle Storm in the semifinals.

New York Liberty vs Atlanta Dream: Game Breakdown
The Dream got off to a quick start in Game 2 and concluded a dominant first-quarter showing with a 28-19 lead. Allisha Gray burst out of the gates, scoring 14 of Atlanta's 28 points in the first quarter, shooting a perfect 5-5 from the field and an eye-popping 4-4 from 3-point range.
Rhyne Howard added six points and two assists, shooting 3-6 from the field. Tina Charles, Naz Hillmon and Haley Jones combined for eight points.
The Liberty were led by Sabrina Ionescu in the first quarter. The guard scored a team-high seven points and had two assists. Jonquel Jones added four points and four rebounds. Breanna Stewart, Betnijah Laney-Hamilton and Nyara Sabally also chipped in for the Liberty in the first quarter.
Trailing by nine after the opening period, New York looked to bounce back in the second quarter. The Liberty took their first lead since the nine-minute mark in the first quarter with the score at 37-36, thanks to an 18-6 run. Atlanta responded with a 12-6 run to take a five-point lead into the half.
Though the Liberty outscored the Dream in the second quarter, they trailed 48-43 at the half as Atlanta looked to stay alive and force a Game 3.
The Liberty found their stride in the third quarter and outscored the Dream 22-16 to take a 65-64 lead into the fourth quarter.
Things went from bad to worse for Atlanta in the fourth as it looked stripped of its momentum from the first half. The Liberty held Atlanta to just 18 points in the fourth while scoring 26 to secure a Game 2 win and advance to the second round of the WNBA playoffs.
