Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark continued her impressive run of form, delivering another strong offensive performance in a 90-80 loss against the Minnesota Lynx on Saturday. The 22-year-old wowed fans at the Target Center in Minneapolis with her smooth dribbling and exceptional playmaking skills.
The former Iowa superstar had a slow start to the game, but she quickly found her offensive rhythm, helping the Fever trim Minnesota's lead to just one point by halftime (44-45). Clark had 15 points, four rebounds and four assists after half time, with 11 points coming in the second quarter.
In the second half, Clark scored eight points, with five coming in the third quarter and three in the final period of the game.
Overall, the Fever rookie finished the game with 23 points on 8-of-18 shooting from the field, including 3-of-8 from the 3-point range. Clark grabbed five rebounds, dished out eight assists, and recorded one steal in 38 minutes.
The 22-year-old went 4-of-4 from the free-throw line and registered seven turnovers. She finished the game with a +/- of -13.
