"I'm more valuable than you": Caitlin Clark and Kate Martin in splits as Fever star makes fervent plea to Iowa star's castaway choice

Caitlin Clark and former teammates Kate Martin and Gabbie Marshall were in splits after Iowa Hawkeyes forward Jada Gyamfi had to pick who would be a better company if they got stuck on a desert island.

During Tuesday's episode of her "Fresh Tawk" podcast, Gyamfi answered questions fans sent her. One included the three former Iowa players, who paid close attention to her response.

"I'm gonna rank. Gabbie's gonna see this and be so mad at me, but I'm gonna put Kate at No. 1, because I think we would survive and get off that island perfectly. Gabbie is gonna go at No. 2. We would die on that island together, like we would not make it off, but we would be -- I'd probably be the most content to spend time with her alone.

Then, she ranked Caitlin Clark last, adding that the Indiana Fever star wouldn't help her.

"Caitlin at No. 3 because we wouldn't get of, we would not find any food. I would have to be the one to do everything and she would just be in my ear like, 'Oh my god, I'm so hungry!' So, sorry I put you at No. 3. Love you, but we're not making it off the island. Me and Gabbie might. Me and Caitlin, H-E-double-L no," Gyamfi said.

These remarks sparked comments from the three players involved in the hypothetical situation. Caitlin Clark disagreed with the response, Kate Martin was the complete opposite, and Gabbie Marshall saw the glass as half full, even if they couldn't make it.

Caitlin Clark made fun request to Jada Gyamfi before solo podcast went live

Caitlin Clark has starred in several of these fun situations with Jada Gyamfi. Clark is often spotted commenting on Gyamfi's TikTok posts, which might confirm what the latter thinks would happen if they were together on a desert island.

After Gyamfi asked fans what she should talk about in this podcast, Clark made a unique request for a possible topic.

"How much u love me," Clark wrote.

Before that, the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year urged Gyamfi to stop making TikToks and focus on watching films, which earned her a warning about getting blocked. Besides all the friendly banter, these four girls share a special connection. Jada Gyamfi revealed she will see Clark soon, visit Gabbie Marshall in April, and get ready to watch some WNBA games over the summer.
