Team USA stars, A'ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart and Diana Taurasi went with the team to brunch on Friday following their win over Belgium on Aug. 1. Following their brunch, Team USA stars A'ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart and Diana Taurasi went to watch the women's 3x3 basketball team, which is currently fighting for a chance to advance to the playoffs. The team has struggled to find consistency, posting a 3-3 record so far through their first six games.
While the 5x5 basketball teams play three games as part of the Group Phase, 3x3 basketball teams compete in eight games. On Friday, Team USA's 3x3 team competed against China, who has gone just 2-4 in the Pool Play round of 3x3 Olympic basketball action.
In a series of posts on her Instagram story, Wilson gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at how Team USA players spend their time. In one video, Wilson showed herself, Breanna Stewart, and Diana Taurasi at brunch along with several other teammates before the group then went to support the 3x3 US team.

While Team USA and Germany are currently both undefeated in Group C, A'ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart and Diana Taurasi will have a chance to cement their place as the only undefeated team in the group on Aug. 4 when they face off with Germany in the final Group Phase game.
From there, the team will shift its focus to the playoffs, where quarterfinal action will tip-off on Aug. 7. Teams who advance to the semifinals will then compete on Aug. 9, before the bronze and gold medal games take place on Aug. 11.
Currently, Team USA is sitting as a heavy betting favorite to win it all after rattling off two dominant wins. In A'ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart and Diana Taurasi's first game as a team, the group dominated Japan, picking up a 102-76 win, with Breanna Stewart and A'ja Wilson leading the way with 22 and 24 points respectively.
The team then picked up their second win of the 2024 Paris Olympics on Aug. 1 with an 87-74 win over Belgium where A'ja Wilson and Breanna Stewart again dominated with 23 points and 26 points respectively.
With Team USA going undefeated since the 1992 Olympics and winning 57 straight games, the group now sits within arms reach of the Olympic playoffs.
