Colson was a second-round pick in the 2011 WNBA Draft by the Connecticut Sun, but would never appear in a game for the team.

She has spent 10 seasons in the WNBA. In her career, Colson has played for the Chicago Sky, the New York Liberty, the Las Vegas Aces, the San Antonio Stars and the Minnesota Lynx.

Colson has spent the last three seasons with the Aces, where she has seemingly found her home in the WNBA. Colson has won two WNBA championships with the Aces, who are looking for their third-straight championship with a record of 16-8 at the WNBA All-Star break.

As the Aces prepare for a strong second half of the season, Colson will look to be a strong veteran presence for Las Vegas in search of a third consecutive WNBA title.

The Aces would join the Houston Comets as the only teams in WNBA history to win three straight WNBA championships.
