Rookie Caitlin Clark matches Candace Parker's record with $8,100,000 in 2024

Caitlin Clark keeps setting and matching records with her earnings. 2024 was a terrific year for the WNBA star in terms of money, as she bagged millions during her final season with the Iowa Hawkeyes and the first one with the Indiana Fever.

Forbes published the list of the highest-paid female athletes in 2024, where Clark ranked 13th with $8.1 million. The difference between her on-court and off-court earnings is huge, as she only logged $0.1 million from her WNBA salary and $8 million from her endorsements.

"Clark, recently honored as a member of Forbes’ 30 Under 30 and 100 Most Powerful Women lists, went from a record-breaking college star to a record-breaking WNBA rookie with the Indiana Fever in 2024, setting the league’s single-season mark for assists."

Tennis star Coco Gauff led the list with $34.4 million, followed by Iga Swiatek with $23.8 million and Eileen Gu with $22.1 million. She isn't the only basketball player on the list, as Sabrina Ionescu ranks 19th with $6.3 million.

Clark's rookie season in the WNBA was enough to tie Candace Parker's 2024 net worth. The legend earned over $1,000,000 during her 15-year WNBA career. Added to endorsements, business deals and investments, the former LA Sparks, Chicago Sky and Las Vegas Aces racked up $8.1 million this year.

As for Caitlin Clark, her list of partners includes Nike, State Farm and Wilson Sporting Goods, among others. The difference between her salary and endorsement money shows that Clark is a marketable player for plenty of brands.

One can only imagine how much money he would make if WNBA salaries were somehow similar to the NBA's.

Caitlin Clark had reportedly made $11.1 million in 2024

Before being included on this Forbes list, Caitlin Clark ranked higher on a Sportico list of the highest-paid female players of the year. Clark ranked 10th among the top 15 highest-paid female athletes of the year with $11.1 million. The list didn't change anything about her salaries and suggested she made $3 million more than Forbes says.

Caitlin is in a good position to attract more attention to the WNBA and earn more money. The WNBA is going through a transition period with Clark leading the way. More young and exciting players will join in the near future and if more fans keep joining the competition, Clark and Ionescu won't be the only ones showing up on these lists.
