Sabrina Ionescu drops one-word reaction on parody video of A'ja Wilson's commercial for $11.18 billion brand
Sabrina Ionescu, A’ja Wilson, Sue Bird and Chiney Ogwumike appeared in a CarMax commercial earlier this year. A parody has since been released on TikTok. Two WNBA fans parodied the commercial in Ionescu and Wilson's characters and the New York Liberty star could not contain her laughter.
The Sabrina character in the video is seen using the same dialogue from the commercial, telling Wilson that her car is small. Wilson's character replies that it was small but fine. The Ionescu character went on to say that the Las Vegas Aces star won two MVPs because one was not fine.
Ionescu had a one-word reaction to the parody video of CarMax, which has a market cap of $11.18 billion, according to Forbes.
"Bruhhhhhhh," she commented.
The original dialogue regarding winning two MVPs was not between Wilson and Sabrina Ionescu. It was between Wilson and WNBA legend Sue Bird when they stepped into a car.
For Wilson, winning two MVPs was also not enough. She has three, the latest coming this season.
Meanwhile, Sabrina Ionescu is fighting for her first WNBA title. After losing Game 1 to the Minnesota Lynx, Ionescu and the Liberty took Game 2 to even the series.
Sabrina Ionescu shows appreciation for family support during WNBA Finals
Sabrina Ionescu had a tough Game 1 in the 2024 WNBA Finals. Ionescu struggled from the floor, especially in the last quarter.
However, the Liberty star hasn't lost the confidence of her family. Her family from California has come all the way to support her during her quest for the title.
Ionescu told reporters that having 25 people from California meant a lot to her. She added that having people who love her gives her an escape from the pressure of playing highly competitive basketball.
"It's great I mean. I saw them yesterday and was able to just kind of forget about basketball for a little bit," Ionescu said. "At this point in the season, when you've kind of been on this emotional high for almost a month now of this win or go home mentality — it's nice to just sometimes step outside of that and be around the people you love.”
The Liberty will travel to Minnesota for Game 3 at the Target Center.
