"You didn't deserve this"- Caitlin Clark trolls Aliyah Boston after losing to Angel Reese's team in Unrivaled Finals

Caitlin Clark showed her humorous side, reacting to her teammate Lexie Hull's victory with Rose BC in the Final of Unrivaled. Commenting on an Instagram post by the Indiana Fever, Clark roasted her co-star Aliyah Boston who fell short against Angel Reese's Rose BC on Monday night.

"Aliyah Boston you didn't deserve this. I'm sorry. - Caitlin Clark via Instagram

In a closely contested game that tested the players' championship mettle, the Rose BC beat the Vinyl BC (62 - 54) on the back of 2022 WNBA Final MVP Chelsea Gray's 18 points and eight assists. The veteran point guard also walked away with Unrivaled Finals MVP for leading her team to the title in Angel Reese's absence.

Nursing a wrist injury, Angel Reese was sidelined for her team's postseason games but lit up the regular season as one of the league's best players averaging 13.3 points and a league-leading 12.1 rebounds over 14 games. Unrivaled's Defensive Player of the Year was in a jubilant mood, toasting her team's success in her absence.

Reese gave a special shoutout for Rose BC head coach Nola Henry's unique achievement as the youngest black woman coach to win a professional title.

Nola is so deserving! The youngest black woman but you the BIGGEST! 🌹Smell your flowers! @777NRH WHEN YOU SEE IT, YOU CAN BE IT! - Angel Reese via X (formerly Twitter)

Aliyah Boston gives sarcastic reply to Caitlin Clark's comment

Shortly after the championship presentation, Aliyah Boston made a playful request to Lexie Hull, her Indiana Fever teammate who had prevailed in the Unrivaled Final with Rose BC.

Boston asked her close friend Hull to foot the bill for their next dinner with the handsome $50,000 reward for winning Unrivaled.

Replying to Fever teammate Caitlin Clark's sarcastic comment, Boston replied on Instagram with an acknowledgement of her attempt at inspiring her.

@caitlinclark22. thanks pookie. I really needed this pick me up message from you - Aliyah Boston via Instagram
