On the other hand, Nia Jax won the WWE Queen of the Ring tournament and was guaranteed a women’s world title match at SummerSlam. The two stars will now collide in the Biggest Party of the Summer.

Bayley vs. Asuka - SummerSlam 2020

Bayley entered into SummerSlam 2020 as the WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion. She won the title in October 2019 and was enjoying a run of the lifetime alongside Sasha Banks as the Golden Role Models. At SummerSlam, Asuka gave her all but the combined effort of Banks and Bayley was too much for her to withstand, and Bayley managed to retain the gold. She would keep the belt until October 2020, holding it for 380 days, which is the longest in the history of the belt, tied with Rhea Ripley’s reign.

Bayley vs. Ember Moon - SummerSlam 2019

Bayley’s first match at SummerSlam was against Ember Moon in 2019. Returning to WWE at SummerSlam 2022

Bayley lost to Bianca Belait at WrestleMania Backlash 2021 and then was out of WWE due to a torn ACL for more than a year. At SummerSlam 2022, Bianca Belair retained the RAW Women’s Championship against Becky Lynch and was celebrating the victory when Bayley made her surprise return to the company. To the further delight of the fans, she did not return alone. Bayley came to WWE alongside Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky, a faction where she spent almost two years.

Helping Iyo Sky win the Women’s Title at SummerSlam 2023

Exactly one year after their return to WWE, Iyo Sky and Bayley worked together to achieve something big. At Money in the Bank, Sky handcuffed Bayley and Becky Lynch to win the briefcase but Bayley was not frustrated by this. Instead, she helped Sky cash in her briefcase against Bianca Belair at SummerSlam 2024. Eight months later, Bayley would eventually be the one to end Sky’s reign.
