He was born on July 16, 1976, in Junction City, Kansas, United States, and was named Franklin Roberto Lashley by his parents. Lashley is mainly known for his work with WWE and TNA where he won the WWE Championship twice, the ECW Championship twice, and the TNA Championship four times.

In MMA, Lashley has worked for Bellator MMA and Strikeforce. Known as The All-Mighty, Lashley is counted among the most formidable athletes in the world. In Bellator MMA, Lashley won all five fights he competed in.
