Dominik is the son of legendary Hall of Famer and Veteran Wrestler Rey Mysterio. Dominik has been widely popular since his childhood, as he used to watch his father wrestle, by sitting with the audience.

In 2005 at the age of 8, he was involved in a storyline with Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero, where Eddie and Rey fought for the custody of Dominik. Eddie has even stated that he was Dominik’s Biological father, which is still being used in the storyline of Dominik. What is Dominik Mysterio's Haircut called?

Dominik Mysterio in September 2022, came up with a “Mullet” haircut, which was widely popular during the 1980’s and 1990’s. The haircut was popularized by the American hip-hop crew The Beastie Boys in the song "Mullet Head", which was released in 1994. Sadly, the haircut disappeared slowly and is rarely seen in recent days. The success and popularity of this haircut have led to multiple documentaries and songs including "American Mullet", "Cut the Mullet", "Mullet Years: Power Ballads", etc.

Dominik Mysterio Professional Wrestling Career

Dominik started his professional wrestling training in 2018 and was trained by Rey Mysterio and Jay Lethal. In 2019, Brock Lesnar confronted Rey Mysterio, where Dominik was sitting on the front row of the audience area. Brock then brutally assaulted Rey Mysterio and Dominic with four F5’s, a series of suplexes, and body slams. He also attacked the officials who came to stop the assault.

Rey and Brock had a match for the WWE Championship at Survivor Series, where Dominik came to attack Lesnar with a rod and hit him with a 619 and a Frog Splash, although Brock won the match to retain the championship. Dominik had his first match at Summerslam 2020, where Dominik unsuccessfully fought against Seth Rollins in a Street Fight.

He then teamed up with his father to win the SmackDown Tag Team Championship and had a successful run as the face until the 2022 Clash at the Castle. Where Edge and Rey fought and won against Finn Balor and Damien Priest of The Judgement Day. After the match, Dominik turned heel by attacking Edge with a low blow and hitting his father with the Clothesline. He then joined The Judgement Day and is currently one of the most hated wrestlers in WWE.

He won the NXT North American Championship in 2022 and worked mainly with Rhea Ripley as a member of the group. In 2024, Mysterio turned on Rhea Ripley and aligned himself with Liv Morgan.
