American rapper and professional wrestler Stephon "Swerve" Strickland is the leader of the heel stable Mogul Embassy at All Elite Wrestling (AEW). His career started in 2008, and up until 2019, he worked as Shane Strickland for a number of independent promotions.

Furthermore, Strickland was employed by El Rey's lucha libre TV series “Lucha Underground” from 2014 to 2018, where he competed as Killshot, a masked wrestler. In 2019, he agreed to work as Isaiah “Swerve” Scott under a developmental contract with the WWE. He remained with the Hit Row stable on the NXT, earning the NXT North American Championship; however, he was cut loose shortly after making his main roster debut at SmackDown.

He signed with AEW and changed his name to Swerve Strickland after being released by WWE. Together with Keith Lee, he formed a tag team that won the AEW World Tag Team Championship. Strickland took over as the head of the Mogul Embassy stable after he turned on Lee.

Strickland wrestled Adam Page in the February 2024 episode of Dynamite; the winner faced Samoa Joe for the AEW World Championship at Revolution. Nevertheless, their bout ended in a 30-minute stalemate, which led to the declaration of both men as the top contenders. Joe was then slated to defend the AEW World Championship against both of them in a three-way battle.
