Hyland DeAndre Jordan Jr. plays centre for the Denver Nuggets in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was born on July 21, 1988, in Houston, Texas, U.S. DeAndre (6”11’ height) is pretty popular for his toughness and sportsmanship. In the 2008 NBA draft, the Los Angeles Clippers acquired DeAndre Jordan with the 35th overall pick. Jordan recorded a career-high 23 points in a game against the Los Angeles Lakers on January 21, 2009. In December 2011, Jordan signed a four-year deal with the Clippers worth US$43 million.

Jordan secured 22 points along with a career-high 27 rebounds in a game against the Dallas Mavericks on February 9, 2015.
DeAndre was named to the All-NBA Third Team on May 21, 2015. Also, he became the 5th player in NBA history to average at least 10 points, two blocks, 15 rebounds and one steal during a regular season. DeAndre re-signed with the Clippers under a four-year deal (US$88 million) in July 2015.
On November 9, 2016, Jordan played his 600th career game against the Portland Trail Blazers. He recorded a season-high 25 rebounds along with 13 points in a loss to the Pelicans on December 28. DeAndre Jordan shifted to the New York Knicks on January 31, 2019. In a contest against the Spurs on March 15, he registered 11 points, 13 rebounds, and a career-high 9 assists. Jordan left the Knicks soon to sign a four-year deal with the Brooklyn Nets in July 2019. He recorded 2 points, 3 rebounds, and one assist in a 17-minute play against the Timberwolves. Jordan secured his first double-double of the season on November 2, with 10 points and 10 rebounds against the Detroit Pistons. Against the Golden State Warriors, DeAndre made his season debut for the Nets on December 22, 2020. He collected 4 points, 11 rebounds, and 1 assist in this game. DeAndre attended Episcopal High School based in Bellaire, Texas. He spent his junior year at this school, averaging 16.5 points and 14 rebounds. As a sophomore, Jordan averaged 15 points and 12 rebounds. However, he played his senior year at Christian Life Center Academy. DeAndre averaged 26.1 points and 15.2 rebounds per game in his senior year. He was also selected to be a Third-Team Parade All-American.
