Jae Crowder: A Brief Biography

Corey Jae Crowder is an American professional basketball player who plays as a small forward for the Utah Jazz of the NBA. He is the son of former NBA player Corey Crowder.

He was drafted 34th overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2012 NBA draft and traded to the Mavericks on draft night, He was later traded to the Celtics, after spending 3 years in Boston he was traded to the Cavs and then to the Jazz.

After looking promising in the NBA Summer League and preseason many labeled Crowder as the 'Steal of the draft', He looked impressive and was part of Coach Rick Carlisle's rotation but his minutes were limited during his 3 years for the Mavericks.

On December 18, 2014, Crowder was traded to the Boston Celtics, He became an important role player for the Celtics under Brad Stevens as his stats improved.

On January 4, 2016, Crowder scored a career-high 25 points in a 103–94 win over the Brooklyn Nets.

On August 22, 2017, Crowder was traded to the Cavaliers and later was again traded to the Jazz. On Game 5 of the first round of the Playoffs, he scored a playoff career-high 27 points in a 107-99 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
