Zach LaVine

Zach LaVine is an American professional basketball player who plays as a Shooting Guard for the Chicago Bulls in the NBA. He is currently playing his 8th season and has been two times NBA All-Star in 2020 and 2021 and was also a member of Team USA which won Gold at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. He was chosen by the Minnesota Timberwolves with the 13th overall pick in the first round of the 2014 NBA Draft; he is well-known for his powerful dunks. He has won the Slam Dunk Contest twice. Early life

In March 1995, Zach LaVine was born in Renton, Washington. He is a guard who attended Bothell High School. He had 28.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game as a senior and was crowned Washington Mr. Basketball and AP Washington Player of the Year in 2013. He was also a first-team Parade All-American.

LaVine participated in the 2014 Pac-12 All-Freshman Team while playing collegiate basketball for UCLA. In the 2014 NBA Draft, the Minnesota Timberwolves selected him with pick number 13. He played three seasons for the Minnesota Timberwolves and then later traded to the Chicago Bulls.

He won the NBA Slam Dunk Contest and made the NBA All-Rookie Second Team during his first season with the Timberwolves. He was the fourth NBA player to ever win four straight dunk competitions in 2016.
