
The Chennai Super Kings and the Royal Challengers Bengaluru have dished out several memorable encounters over the years. In the 2024 IPL season, RCB knocked out the five-time champions from the tournament in a must-win game to qualify for the Playoffs.
Both sides have faced off once in the 2025 IPL season, where the Rajat Patidar-led unit defeated the Super Kings at the latter's home ground, the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. RCB registered a 50-run victory. This was the first time they beat the Chennai Super Kings at the Chepauk since 2008, as per IPL's official website.
