
Gujarat Titans (GT) are an Ahmedabad-based franchise team competing in the Indian Premier League (IPL). They started playing in the IPL in 2022 and won the title in their debut campaign after beating Rajasthan Royals in the final. They lost to Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2023 final and finished eighth in the IPL league standings in the IPL 2024.
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), on the other hand, have also lifted one IPL trophy. The Hyderabad-based team, which replaced Deccan Chargers in the IPL 2013, defeated Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the IPL 2016 final.
