Swedish golfer Ludvig Aberg was born on October 31, 1999. Aberg began playing golf at the age of eight, taught by his father; however, he was initially more interested in soccer, but that obviously changed by the age of 13.

Four years later, in 2016, he won the Annika Sörenstam Trophy at the age of 17. He had also been the No. 1 amateur for nearly 30 weeks and had won 13 amateur titles. In 2020, Aberg won two professional events on the Swedish Golf Tour as an amateur, both against Mikhael Lindberg.

He turned professional three seasons later, in 2023 and joined the PGA Tour. He finally won his first PGA Tour win at the 2023 RSM Classic, his 13th PGA start. He also won the 2023 Omega European Masters, his first European Tour win.

Aberg finished runner-up at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and the Masters Tournament in 2024. He also finished in eighth place at the Players Championship. His official World Golf Ranking is No. 6 as of May 2024.
