Patrick Cantlay, the American professional golfer born on March 17, 1992, is an active member of the PGA Tour as of February 2025. Cantlay, a former world No. 1 amateur, held the top ranking for 54 consecutive weeks (55 total). He played college golf at UCLA, where he won the Mark H. McCormack Medal, Jack Nicklaus Award, Haskins Award, and the Pac-10 Conference Player of the Year honors in 2011. Before turning professional in 2012, he also secured the 2012 Ben Hogan Award.

Cantlay earned his first professional victory at the 2013 Colombia Championship, a Web.com Tour (now Korn Ferry Tour) event. After joining the PGA Tour in 2014, he won his first PGA Tour title at the 2017 Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. The Long Beach, California native had a career-best season in 2021, winning the FedEx Cup and being named PGA Tour Player of the Year. He reached a career-high ranking of No. 3 in January 2022 and, as of February 2025, is ranked No. 15 in the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR). So far, he has secured nine professional wins, including eight on the PGA Tour.
