The Canadian Open, sponsored by RBC (since 2008), is a 120-year-old golf tournament, that was once considered one of the most prestigious events, as it was a part of the "Triple Crown," which consisted of the Open and the U.S. Open, two majors. Tiger Woods and Lee Trevino are the only ones who have achieved this in the event's long history.
The 2024 RBC Canadian Open will take place from May 30 to June 2, though its practice rounds will commence on May 28, followed by the RBC Canadian Open Pro-Am. It will be held at the Hamilton Golf & Country Club, Ontario, with a field of 156 players and a purse of $9.4 million. The event will be televised by TSN, CBS and Golf.

Where is the 2024 RBC Canadian Open? Course Details
The 7,084-yard, 70-par Hamilton Golf and Country Club in Ancaster, Ontario, will host the 2024 RBC Canadian Open. Hamilton Golf and Country Club placed second on ScoreGolf magazine's ranking of the best golf courses and is often considered to be one of the best golf courses in Canada.
The course was initially designed by renowned course architect Harry Colt in 1894, who made the 18 holes, while the rest, nine, was created by Robbie Robinson in 1974. The club has played host to six Canadian Opens; the most recent one was held in June 2019 and was won by Rory McIlroy.
The club's 27 holes underwent a historic refurbishment led by Martin Ebert of the UK-based design firm Mackenzie & Ebert, International Golf Course Architects, beginning in the fall of 2019. The enormous repair aimed to bring back many of the iconic features that Colt had originally envisioned but had lost to deterioration and to provide consistency with Robbie Robinson's original East Course design.
The two-year-long, $11.5 million makeover was recognized by Golf Digest as the “Best New Restoration” of 2022. As a result, all 27 greens were completely rebuilt, major bunker improvements were made, and many of the course's important historical design aspects were restored.
