Xander Schauffele was born on October 25, 1993. He has 12 professional wins, including the 2024 PGA Championship and the 2024 Open Championship. In 2015, he turned pro and won the Northern California Open, his first professional event, later that season. He joined the PGA Tour two seasons later, in 2017, winning the Greenbrier Classic and the Tour Championship.

Schauffele has 12 professional titles and a world ranking of No. 3 as of April 2025, as per the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR). However, his career high is world No. 2 (May 2024). He also represented the United States in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and the 2024 Paris Olympics, winning the gold medal in the latter and finishing ninth in the former.

Xander Schauffele’s Driver

Schauffele uses the new Callaway Elyte Triple Diamond driver and the same Mitsubishi Diamana PD 70 TX shaft he used in 2024. The driver's head is at 10.5 degrees, set at 9.5 degrees. The look of the driver initially caused debate, but its performance, as per Golf Monthly, is considered one of the best in the category.

Xander Schauffele’s Fairway

Schauffele plays with the Callaway Elyte Triple Diamond fairway wood, installed with a Mitsubishi Diamana-PD 80 TX shaft. Instead of using the standard 3-wood loft at 15 degrees, he opts to use the HL 3-wood, which sets the loft at 16.5 degrees. As per Golf Monthly, the fairway has a weight port forward to reduce spin and launch and put the CG closer to the face.

Xander Schauffele’s Hybrid

Schauffele uses the original Callaway Apex UW hybrid with a loft of 21 degrees set at under 20 degrees. The hybrid is installed with a Mitsubishi Diamana-Limited 90 TX shaft. He replaced the 2024 Apex UW with this original tour-inspired version.

Xander Schauffele’s Irons

Schauffele uses the Callaway Apex TCB irons (4-PW), which come with True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 shafts. This club meets all the requirements for low handicappers and feels incredibly soft.

Xander Schauffele’s Wedges

Schauffele uses three wedges, one Callaway Opus Raw set at 52 degrees, and delivers a significant amount of spin. The other two are Titleist's Vokey SM10s of 56-degree loft, set at 57 and 60 degrees, respectively. All of these wedges are installed with Tour Temper (TT) Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100.

Xander Schauffele’s Putter

Schauffele prefers the Odyssey Toulon Design Las Vegas Prototype 7CH putter, which features a SuperStroke Zenergy Tour 2.0 grip. He briefly used a Stroke Lab 7 in addition to carrying the Odyssey Stroke Lab Tuttle in his bag.

Xander Schauffele’s Golf Ball

Schauffele uses the Callaway Chrome Tour, one of the most premium golf balls available. Golfers who need a little extra spin over the Chrome Tour X ball may find this soft-feeling golf ball appealing.

Xander Schauffele’s Footwear & Apparel

Schauffele has worn the Descente brand since early 2024 and is often seen wearing their polo shirts and outerwear, while for footwear, he wears Adidas Tour 360 22 golf shoes.
