This has been an absolutely emphatic win for the CIYMS! They needed 107 to win and they' got their comfortably in the end! The carnage was started by the opening pair of Van der Merwe and Dougherty! The former went berserk in the powerplay and seized the initiative during that phase. Once he was gone Dougherty switched gears and launched a counter attack as Benjamin Callitz did well to play the second fiddle. They did loose a couple of wickets in the end but Callitz got them home with ease.

The Beveren bowlers tried hard but they were up against a superior side and it showed! The openers took the game away from them and from there on they could never make a comeback in the game! Said was the pick of the bowlers for them as he redeemed himself with a couple of wickets at the back end, but it was too late by then.
