The Blasters have choked once again and it's the second time in the day that they've messed up in a run chase that they had in their pockets for the longest period of time. They needed 7 runs from five balls and found a way to loose the game in the end.

The start was quite slow for the Blasters but once Danish Siddiqui and skipper Maithani woke up from the slumber they hammered it all over the park and got their side ahead in the game in no time. Siddiqui whacked 48 from 24 balls and Maithani gave him company in the onslaught as he hammered 46 runs from 28 balls.

The bowlers took some tap in the middle overs but they came back really well in the end. Mehboob Ali bowled really well in the powerplay to set the tone for them. Sharjeel however was the pick of the bowlers as he gave away just 13 runs from one over. Prasath also did a great job by defending 7 from the final over.
