Welcome to Delhi. One thing I will say which is a good news is there is no rain around tonight and there is no wind either. It's very very still and very warm. About the dimensions- it's 58 metres to my left and 54 metre towards the third man region for a right hander, side 66 metres to my right, 75 metres towards the midwicket region and straight down 71 metres. This pitch has been used before. You can see a bit of wear marks. It will be good for the spinners reckons Grame Swann. The surface looks very very dry. Has got some grass on it, feel like it will turn a little bit. Feels like there will be some grip when you rub your hand on it and fingers over this. It has been baked in the sun. The last ten innings here, the average first innings score is 216 so that's a lot of runs and 8 out of 10 times, teams batting first have got to 200. So lots of runs but certainly has got some elements where it might just hold up during the middle overs reckons Hayden. It could turn a bit but should be a very good place to bat concludes Swann.
