That brings us to the end of another CPL encounter. The tournament continues with a double header clash today. Lots of cricketing action lined up for rest of the day. The India-Bangladesh first Test third day's proceedings will get underway in about fifty five minutes. Imran Tahir (Guyana Amazon Warriors captain): Look I think we didn't adjust well to the conditions. We have to take more responsibility. Hetmyer batted positively and obviously then Shepherd did what he does best. At the halfway mark I was very confident of defending the score. Look for me, I have to keep up my standard. I was the most expensive spinner today. Going to the next game, I will try and get wickets. I also need to adapt to the conditions. It was wrong execution and plan from my part. The ball was little bit wet. Overall it was a great team effort and the way we got over the line. I think the fight, trusting each other. We enjoy each other's company and success. When we come here tomorrow, we know the conditions and we come back and try to learn and how to bat. 150 is a good total on this pitch. The guy has got pace and as a captain you always look for someone who can bowl consistently at 145 kph. He worked hard in the nets and delivered tonight. He is a very exciting kid, really proud of him with the way he bowled today.

Andre Fletcher (St Kitts and Nevis Patriots captain): Well it was all about our personal performance. We have mentioned that lets look at our personal performance because we know there is a big draft coming up next year. Again dropping four catches. The score should have been around 115. The score was gettable but on a tricky wicket like this, you have to squeeze your opposition which we didn't. Yeah the thing is we have to believe in our abilities. I am very happy for Nedd. It was all about execution and he did that brilliantly. Even Shamsi was fantastic. I can't ask more from the bowlers. We let down in the field and with the bat. We lost wickets at crucial times. We know that they will use majority of their off-spinners and we tried to counter. It didn't come out, we didn't play smart cricket at the end of the day. We love to play in Guyana and I love bigger crowd, especially when the crowd is against you, you try to shut them up but unfortunately, it wasn't to be.

Shimron Hetmyer is the Player of the Match, here is what he had to say: Brave batting I guess. The only thing I was thinking was staying positive and that worked today. I think I am just trying to enjoy my cricket a lot more now which helps a lot. I think that's what I am doing more now. The smile is coming back and that is working. It's a different feeling. Words can't express how good it is to play infront of your home crowd. I think it was only a matter of time for Shamar to start picking up wickets. All he needs to do is continue what he is doing and sky is the limit for him. Batting and even in bowling or fielding it's about forgetting the previous days and come out and express ourselves in whichever capacity possible.

What an exceptional comeback this turned out to be for the Guyana Amazon Warriors. They have stormed their way back into the tournament despite posting a reasonably low score after batting first. Shimron Hetmyer at the halfway stage felt that 137 was an above par score and it turned out in that manner.

The St Kitts and Nevis Patriots were cruising at one stage but kept losing wickets at regular intervals towards the end to rest home the advantage and in the end, went on to lose by a massive margin of 30 runs. Andre Fletcher started the innings with a couple of boundaries. Evin Lewis struggled initially but then stitched together a crucial knock and was the wicket that the Warriors desperately needed.

Tahir conceded 17 runs in his opening over and it looked like the match was slipping away from their grasp. Mikyle Louis, Kyle Mayers and Joshua Da Silva all perished cheaply. However, with Lewis and Rilee Rossouw stitching a partnership together, it looked like a smooth sail for the Patriots.

It was an exceptional effort from Shamar Joseph to run out Rossouw which opened the floodgates and there was no way back for the Patriots. Lewis departed the very next over and it was a mountain too steep to climb from there on. Eventually, a 30-run victory signifies the fact how strong the defending champions are.

18.3 Shamar Joseph to Ryan John, WIICKET! What a comeback this has been for the Guyana Amazon Warriors and this should be done and dusted. That was a quick good-length delivery around midde, honing into the stumps, John tries to whip it across the line, Joseph took the catch just to be on the safer side.

Clearly no bat involved and it's three reds on ball-tracking. Shamar Joseph finishes with 3/9 as the Amazon Warriors win by 30 runs.

18.2 Shamar Joseph to Ryan John, FOUR! Drills that quick full-length delivery around off, was searching for the yorker and that has been cracked hard down the ground, misfield by the long on fielder allows John to find his first boundary.
