India dust themselves off after a disappointing loss and get back to winning ways in this tournament. Shafali Verma's return to form will be a welcome one to the side and a confidence booster for her personally as well. Getting this result in the absence of their captain Harmanpreet Kaur also bodes well for the side.

As for Bangladesh, it's not a matter of going back to the drawing board just yet. They were always going to require something special to get the two points today but it wasn't meant to be. As a result, their last two games pretty much become must-win contests as we head into the business end of the tournament.

No surprises to guess who the Player of the Match is. It's Shafali Verma, for her half-century and her couple of wickets with the ball. Here's what she has to say: I'm always thinking about what the team wants me to do. I'm always ready for those challenges. While bowling, I was just thinking about bowling in the right areas. With the batting, it was a slightly difficult wicket to bat on because the ball was keeping low but it was a good wicket overall. There's been so much hard work. Thanks to my family and friends who are always supporting me. It's come after a long time but I'm really happy. We played really well today, so we're really happy.

Smriti Mandhana (Indian captain): It was disappointing in the last match, the way we played. So, it's really good to come back. When you're a good team, you come back harder and the girls showed a lot of character to come back and put up that show. Today, it was a total team performance. We got a good start. Shafali batted well and even Jemi at the end. I really loved the approach with the way even Deepti went and scored in 4-5 balls. All in all, the batting performance was good. Definitely, we could have had 10-plus runs maybe but that's something we will address as a batting unit. As a bowling unit, we were really clinical. Throughout the tournament, we've been bowling really well and today was just another day for our bowlers. We discussed that we have to keep bowling good lines and lengths and let them make the mistake. As pacers, it's not easy to come out and take wickets on this surface. We knew we had to work really hard and make them work for the runs. The bowling unit, all of them, bowled really really well. I'm really proud.

Nigar Sultana (Bangladesh captain): We didn't bowl well in the powerplay and we gave away too many loose balls. Even though we couldn't get many runs in our powerplay, it cost us the game. After 15 overs, we controlled the game for some time but our main bowlers couldn't ball in the right areas. There were too many lose balls and they didn't execute it very well. We didn't have the same when we were batting and that was the difference. (Leg spinners bowling late) It was a plan. We had three other bowlers in the powerplay and had to compensate with the two leg spinners later on.

A comfortable win for India as they bounce back after their loss yesterday. A good batting performance to reach the huge total of 159 on the back of Verma and Mandhana.

Bangladesh never got going in the chase, they were always way behind the required rate as the dot balls and lack of boundaries added to the pressure. Their captain was the only batter that showed intent, as she scored 5 boundaries. Hoque and Khatun got a few runs but at a very slow pace.

India bowled well from the start, tight line and good fielding helped them put pressure on the batters. Verma again shining with the ball as well today, picked up her career best figures of 2/10. Deepti Sharma also got beautiful figures of 2/13 while Renuka Singh and Rana got a wicket each. Rana with 2 good catches and Ghosh with 2 quick stumpings. The most expensive bowler has the economy of just 7.3 as the bowling unit bowled well together to restrict Bangladesh and get a huge win.
