Aaron Finch (San Francisco Unicorns' captain): This was a good win for us. Wade, Allen and Stoinis started well and we just continued from there. Everyone stuck to their plan and that is what allowed us to pull this off. When you have got guys who have played at the top, it helps the team immensely. Once again, Wade and Stoinis were fantastic. (On how to keep the momentum) We just keep swinging hard. We can only control what we can control.

Sunil Narine (Los Angeles Knight Riders' captain): I think there were a few moments when we were in control but once you concede so many runs, it is always tough to come back. 160-170 was par on this surface but we conceded far too many runs. You have to try and reset when things do not go your way. We have a good bunch of guys, we just have to get it right.

Matthew Wade (Player of the Match): I mishit a few to be honest. It was good fun, good to be batting with a few new faces, Have enjoyed batting with Finn Allen. The wicket looks really really good but it was the cutters towards the end which was difficult to play shots again. We have discussed as a group as how to adapt to conditions. Corey Anderson has been huge towards the bottom half of the innings. We have started to gel together finally and hopefully it continues.

Corey Anderson: I don't thnk its a too much of a secret. Short boundary at one end makes it easy a bit but Wade has gotten us off to a flyer. We have numerous guys who can bowl in this team. You have to try and get some overs out of the way with Russell and Narine in that mood. It was a big total to chase and it was about teeing off. Haris Rauf is a massive factor, he is a huge advantage and we can manipulate the over according to the condition. He is definitely a massive buy for us. We faced different conditions today, we have to be switched on. We werent really happy to concede points in the previous game.

San Francisco Unicorns beat Los Angeles Knight Riders by 21 runs!

The San Francisco Unicorns ended up on the winning side by a comfortable margin here. The Los Angeles Knight Riders did not seem like losing this game from the get-go thanks to the brilliant start that they got from Jason Roy and Unmukt Chand.

Roy, who came in as a replacement for Martin Guptill, departed just five runs short of his half-century. Chand and number three Nitish Kumar tried their best to prop up the total but they departed in quick succession. A lot was expected from South African import Rilee Rossouw, but unfortunately, he has flattered to deceive in all the matches that he has played this season.

Wicketkeeper-batter Jaskaran Malhotra failed to perform too, and this added a lot of pressure on the lower middle order. Andre Russell and skipper Sunil Narine had too much to do when they came together towards the latter half of the innings, but they still managed to take their team close to the total.

The late assault set up by Russell allowed the supporters of the Knight Riders to hope, but the win could not be pulled off. San Francisco Unicorns won this game fair and square- they were the better side. The Knight Riders will continue at the bottom of the table, having lost all three matches that they have played.
