And undoubtedly, Harshal Patel is the Player of the Match for his stupendous all-round display under pressure.

Northamptonshire 139 all out (19.3) lose to India 149/8 (20) by 10 runs. Saif Zaib 33 (35) | Emilio Gay 22 (15) | Avesh Khan 2/16 (3) Harshal Patel 2/23 (3.3) & 54 (36) | Dinesh Karthik 34 (26) | Brandon Glover 3/33 (4)
Whew! It was a Sunday Special for all those who turned up at the County Ground in Northampton. All the attention was on the Birmingham Test but away from it all, India's white-ball side have scraped through and survived a test of nerves across departments.
It was a Harshal Patel special that gave them a psychological score to defend and it was that man again who sealed it towards the end. Of course, it helped that India prized out four scalps in the Powerplay despite the Steelbacks and Emilio Gay in particular taking off at the rate of knots. His departure though threw a spanner into their works and it needed a period of consolidation from the Steelbacks' point of view.
Saif Zaib played the waiting game and in all fairness, he was allowed to owing to the asking rate not escalating out of bounds. Useful contributions from James Sales, Brandon Glover and Freddie Heldreich followed, even as the hosts kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Avesh Khan peppered them with his pace while Yuzvendra Chahal's guile wasn't easy to negotiate by any stretch.
Just when it seemed as though the Northants had lost a couple of wickets too many though, Zaib took it upon himself despite having a solitary wicket on hand to play with. He took it into the last over with a late surge but alast for him, the dipping slower yorker of Harshal Patel was just too good to handle. A thrilling victory for the visitors and given that they've won both their warmup games - one defending and the other chasing - will augur brilliantly for them ahead of the first T20 against England on Thursday.
The famed dipping slower yorker it is! Oh you have to feel for Saif Zaib who's on his haunches in agony. But what a fight he's put up and what a fight the Northants have put up. In the end though, India scrape through by 10 runs!
19.3 Harshal Patel to Saif Zaib, OUT! CLEANED HIM UP! IT'S ALL OVER FOR NORTHANTS, INDIA WIN! So close yet so far for Northants. Harshal was smart, spots the batter moving across off-stump a lot, exposes the middle and leg, Harshal bowls full and straight, Zaib goes to sweep but misses, that rattles the stumps and India seal the game with two deliveries to spare. Saif Zaib b Harshal Patel 33 (35b 4x4 0x6)
19.2 Harshal Patel to Saif Zaib, OH! Length delivery, angling across left-hander, wide of off-stump, Zaib down on one knee to loft it over the covers but makes no connection and it's another DOT!
19.1 Harshal Patel to Saif Zaib, OH! Nails the yorker on the leg-stump, Zaib gets inside the line and couldn't do much about it as he digs it out.
Harshal Patel to bowl the last over!
Away from all the attention at Edgbaston, we've witnessed a classic here at the County Ground in Northampton! It's still not done and we're down to the last six deliveries. One good delivery and India are home - two good hits and the Steelbacks will script a jailbreak of some kind! Who will come out on top?
