Thanks a lot for joining me, Mohul Bhowmick, for this exciting yet lopsided game in the Super Smash! Until next time, ciao!
Canterbury Kings beat Northern Brave by 90 runs!
Chad Bowes 85 (43) | William O'Rourke 4-23 Tom Latham 62 (39) | Brett Hampton 2-61
This turned out to be one of the biggest wins ever in the T20 format of the game. Canterbury Kings were all over the Northern Brave like a rash and punished them for all the mistakes that they made. They emerged as deserving winners at the end of the game and take home all four points from this.
The Kings could have bowled the Brave out for a lowly total if not for the brilliant partnership that Scott Kuggeleijn and Tim Pringle stitched together. The latter remained unbeaten till the end and was one of the sole bright spots for the home team. The Brave have a lot of questions to answer.
