Katie Mack is the Player of the Match! Here's what she has to say: Was pretty nervous at the end, going hard isn't my natural game, I just managed to score quickly at the start and that helped towards the end. I've never had it, glad and if you look at the batters at the top of that, they are all world class, to be out there is something I'm proud of. I think with the opening, the ball was coming on to the bat nicely, opening for me, pretty much to watch the ball and hit it, just see what happens and go out with good intent. It always about taking the game deep, we got the win!

A quite magnificent match ends in an absolutely magnificent fashion! Danielle Gibson held her nerve in the last over to strike two important blows when the pressure was on and those 10 runs got the job done for Adelaide Strikers Women!

Katie Mack requires a massive shoutout! She batted superbly to keep her team in the hunt right through this second innings. He stroke-play, especially behind square off both feet on both sides of the wicket, was the best on show in this match! She is now also the highest run scorer of the tournament!

Two fine hands from skipper Tahlia McGrath and wicketkeeper-batter Bridget Patterson worked really well! And the running between the wickets by both Mack and Patterson was something to behold really!

Perth Scorchers Women tried their best to tie the batters down. But the problem was that no bowler either picked up more than one wicket, nor gave away runs at less than 6-an-over. Fielding too let them down on a few occasions.

So, with this win, Adelaide Strikers Women move to 10 points and join Brisbane Heat Women at the top of the table. Perth Scorchers Women remain on 8 points.

Well done Danielle Gibson! She hit two crisp shots under the most extreme pressure. Chloe Ainsworth has tears in her eyes for not being able to get the job done but she bowled well to take it to the last ball.
