Although Hardikkumar Patel tried his best to get Punjab over the line, he fell short of a ton by six runs and his team lost the game by a margin of 38 runs. The bowlers of Lisbon tried their best to prevent Patel from scoring freely, but they could not do so quite easily.
Punjab CC know that they were the better side in this game and won it fair and square by defeating their opponents in all three departments of the game. Lisbon have a lot of reflection to do in the dressing room and decode for themselves what went wrong.
Punjab will take the momentum they have gained from this game into their next game in the tournament and hope that they do not falter anymore. As for Lisbon, they will have to look in the mirror and find out their mistakes and not repeat them in their next game.
That will be that!
