Ishan Kishan is the Player of the Match, here is what he had to say: no actually when you get to a good start and the openers get us off to a great start,you just need to continue the momentum. The moment I saw Abhishek and Travis playing those strokes, I knew we had to score atleast 200. You just need to keep the momentum going. I was thinking of playing the good shots and looking at one side of the ground..I mean not so happy with the performance overall. The way we started, the way we batted in the net session, I could have done much better for my team.

Pat Cummins (Sunrisers Hyderabad captain): A little late in the season but good all round showing to win the match. We have got some genuine sixth bowling option now. With Nitish bowling. Abhishek keeps telling me he is a very a good option. Ishan got us to that 230 rather than the 200. We misread the wicket actually, we thought it was a 170 wicket and then the guys said no it's a great pitch and we had to change our plans. It's all about the process, when someone hits a six, you just to change it the next delivery. Eshan Malinga has got plenty of tools and he has been really great this season.

Jaydev Unadkat [Sunrisers Hyderabad]: "Probably one of the best wickets to bat on, throughout the tournament. We were expecting in Hyderabad, we didn't get it and that's why you see the runs here. It's hard to stop the baters when they get going had to break the momentum. Mixing up the pace was important, we did that a lot in the last eight overs. Cummins was key, the messaging was clear, we needed to keep it tight. Didn't' happen at the start, but we kept at it. That's how the game goes, one over and Malinga did everything. Threw the ball at the stumps, caught and bowling, can't ask for more. It was quite clear, it was a good track to bat on. We needed to execute the yorkers, more about the execution, rather than anything else."
