There were some really good balls bowled, and there were some opportunities created. But some unimpressive fielding, even after getting the first wicket rather early, the Victoria Lions go down without too much of a fight!
Some really good batting from skipper Priyan Pushparajan, who remained unbeaten on 52, and Chamkaur Singh, who handled himself well enough, even after being slightly off colour with the bat, sealed the deal for the Royal Strikers in windy conditions.
So with this win, the Strikers go up to10 points from 7 games, while the Lions are yet to register a win, after those many matches.
This is the pair of Divyansh and Bidipto saying good bye for now, keep following Sportskeeda!
9.1 Shejil Peter to Priyan Pushparajan, GAME SET AND MATCH. MAXIMOOO. Short and outside off, he hits it over long off with a straight bat. The timing was perfect.
Shejil Peter, right-arm medium fast, is into the attack.
One run to get off the last over. Any mistake from the batting side? Not really, to be honest!
