Scotland won the game by 8 runs!
Mark Adair 72(36) | Curtis Campher 28(14) | Bradley Currie 4-0-13-5 | Michael Leask 3-0-30-2
It was a magnificent effort from Mark Adair towards the fag end of the game which gave Ireland a realistic chance of winning this game but in the end, it was Scotland who held their nerve and won the match by just 8 runs. Ireland lost their way in the powerplay but an exceptional knock from Adair gave them a realistic chance of chasing this but in alas it wasn't the case as Scotland just managed to close it out.
Ireland lost their first 3 wickets without much on the board. Balbirnie and Lorcan Tucker were the first two casualties while Harry Tector couldn't bother the scorer much as well. Curtis Campher came out with a positive frame of mind and scored a quickfire 28 off just 14 deliveries.
Just when it looked Ireland was staring down the barrel, Adair produced a classic as he kept smacking sixes after sixes and kept Ireland in the game. His knock of 72 was studded with 4 fours and 6 sixes which eventually took Ireland very close to the target. However in the end, the Scotland bowlers held their nerves and etched out a victory.

19.6 Safyaan Sharif to Benjamin White, DROPPED! Doesn't matter as Scotland go home by 8 runs in the end. What a game this turned out to be, Ireland came tantalizingly close as Mark Adair played one of the best T20 knocks but failed to take his team home in the end. Length delivery on the leg-stump, White swings and has skied it straight up, deep square-leg fielder settles under it but spills it.
19.5 Safyaan Sharif to Benjamin White, EDGED AND FOUR! Too little too late this for Ireland. Length delivery outside the off-stump, White swings across the line but takes a thick outside edge to third-man for a boundary.
19.4 Safyaan Sharif to Joshua Little, short into the batter, Little pulled it to deep square-leg for another single.
19.3 Safyaan Sharif to Benjamin White, back of a length on the middle and off, White gets across off-stump and helps it straight to short fine-leg for one.
19.2 Safyaan Sharif to Joshua Little, back of a length on the middle and leg, Little pulled it to deep mid-wicket for a single.
19.1 Safyaan Sharif to Benjamin White, back of a length on the fourth stump, White steers it around backward point for a quick single.
