So, that is it from myself, Karthik Raj and my co-commentator, Pradeep . Do stay tuned to Sportskeeda's coverage of a lot more cricket matches
Kent captain Sam Billings: A phenomenal team effort, even a whole different squad with a Covid squad, a credit to everyone, it's been a long time coming and it's for the fans as much as us. Consistency doesn't guarantee anything but winning breeds confidence. It's pulled off tonight. It's what we are about, giving young guys an environment to flourish. A credit to those guys, they work so hard at their game. And Darren Stevens, he's ridiculous, 45 years old, how's he not fed up with cricket! I won't be getting out of the kit for the whole night, get the families in and enjoy the night. It's for the whole squad.
Somerset captain Lewis Gregory: We didn't quite get it right with the ball, disappointing. A pretty youthful team, and a good experience to be involved in. The back has not been amazing, frustrating not to be fully fit, just a little bit of old age creeping in. The fans have been fantastic all year, it means the world to everyone.
Jordan Cox, has been unsurprisingly named as the 'Player of the Match'.
Cox: Unbelievable, never thought I'd get the chance to do this, but today's the day. I was focused on not getting another first-baller. Unfortunately it doesn't go down as my catch, but good to get the win. Great to be around the big dogs, an example to be around.
Samit Patel has been named as the 'Player of the Tournament'
Samit: It was a little bit distraught we didn't make Finals Day. Overall it's been a good year. Just being more aggressive. More attacking. Just trying to take the attacking option (what's worked). We're lucky enough now, we gets lot of cricket in the winter. Pick a few leagues. The way Cox played tonight, very exciting for English cricket.
Time for the Post-match Presentation ceremony!
Joe Denly: Incredibly special. You want to reach these kind of days. Been a long time coming. Have played some good cricket over the last few years - not quite got over the line. To get here tonight is special. After my second over I didn't think I'll bowl another one to be honest but pleased to get a few wickets. Qais has been fantastic for us in the middle overs. Delighted to do a job with him in that period. It's been a process of building for a couple of years in white ball cricket. We thought we'd scrape up to 150 but Cox got us to the high 160s.
Darren Stevens: The boys have been outstanding all tournament. How (I keep going)? Is a good question. These young boys keep spurring me on and I ain't going to stop yet. Unbelievable. That's as good as anything I have seen on a cricket field (Cox's performance). He (Jordan Cox) has been outstanding throughout the tournament and been Mr Consistent. The fans have been outstanding, they started halfway through the first game and are still buzzing.
Marchant de Lange with a six but Kent won't bother!! SAM BILLINGS' KENT ARE THE 2021 T20 BLAST CHAMPIONS!
Jordan Cox's late-hitting took Kent to a superb total of 167-7 but they still needed to bowl well against a strong Somerset batting line-up. Joe Denly did that by removing Tom Banton for a duck while Lewis Goldsworthy was also sent back early by Fred Klaassen. The duo of Will Smeed and Tom Abell rebuilt the innings to an extent.
However, the leg-spin twins, Qais and Joe Denly dragged Kent back into a dominant position as Somerset were reduced to 89-5. The collapse continued as Lewis Gregory sent back Matt Milnes while Roelof van der Merwe lifted a full-toss straight to short extra-cover. In the end, the pair of Matt Milnes and Fred Klaassen bowled tightly to round off the match.
