IRELAND BEAT SPAIN BY 51 RUNS!
Tim Tector playing one of all time great T10 innings', hammering bowlers all around the park, finishing as the highest scorer of the game, thereby showcasing his class. Gavin Hoey, with the ball, had an exemplary outing finishing as the highest wicket taker of the game and made a significant impact in this enthralling game of cricket!
The second innings saw some quality performances from both Ireland and Spain, though Ireland took the winning credentials with them to the dressing room! Muhammad Ihsan and Yasin, though in different stages of the game, made vital contributions for their side and reduced the loss margin and put up a fight.
Gavin Hoey was the star amongst the bowlers and finished with some sumptuous figures of 2/17 in his 2 overs, providing crucial breakthroughs in the ever so volatile middle overs.
What Spain lacked was a start up top, similar to Seamus Lynch, who a played a fantastic knock and set the tone for a big innings like that from Tim Tector, the former U-19 captain of Ireland, from their captain, who was removed early without scoring.
Spain also lacked Babar's services with the ball, which could've been the game changing factor!
