Update 7:30 PM IST: Some bad news, folks! The storm has hit the ground too hard, and this means that this game has been abandoned. The rain has stopped but there is too much of water on the covers, and hence play cannot be restarted.

Update 6:48 PM IST: Well, play has been suspended here until it stops raining. It's the English summer, eh - what can you expect?

7.2 Matt Boyle to David Mansfield, OUT! Floated up around middle and leg, Mansfield looked to go for the sweep, the ball bounced a touch extra, took the top-edge, and the man at short fine had a simple catch to take! And.... with that wicket, the umpires and players head off the park as the rain gets heavier
