That is all we have from this game and the series then. This has been Pratyush and myself (Rishab) as we sign off for the moment. Harmanpreet Kaur, Winning captain: It was a great game for all of us and I am happy that we pulled this game. We thought of getting singles and settling in. It was important for us to stay there and I should give credit to her (Pooja Vastrakar) as well. We were able to achieve our target. I would like to thank our staff and BCCI as well. It was out first tour without two of our senior players and it was important to put our hands up. We want to keep repeating the winning approach. We have done well in the T20I series and now it is time for us to use the rest time and we just want to enjoy our cricket.

Chamari Athapaththu: Not pleasing, losing another game. We dropped a few catches in crucial times and our batters also struggled. India were a better all-round side today. She (Nilakshi) is a good and experienced batter. She consistently performs well, which is a good sign for us but hasn't got a big score yet. She's (Rashmi) bowling really well. She's a young girl, so I hope she keeps playing good cricket in the future.

Right then, a bit later than one would have imagined but this game eventually coming to an end. India were made to work hard for that final wicket but apart from that really, they were dominant once again with the ball here. With Chamari in, Sri Lanka were racing along but they did well to come back and make sure the hosts had no chance in this chase than to try and bat out as many overs as they could. Rajeshwari was the pick of the bowlers with the rest chipping in as well.

As for Sri Lanka, they fought well but it wasn't good enough to see them through in the end. They did have a few good partnerships in the middle but the problem was that they could not take them forward and kept losing wickets after consolidating each time. They then lost a few quick wickets and it was too much for them to do from there on. Once again, their batting letting them down but their lower order batters made it look a lot better, taking them to 216 and more importantly, batting out almost 48 overs as well.

Some positives that the hosts can take away - having India under pressure early on when they bowled and the resistance shown with the bat towards the backend of the chase to not give it away that easily. They can certainly work on this going forward and have enough talent in that group. Barring Chamari, Hasini Perera and Nilakshi de Silva were good with the bat with Rashmi and Ranaweera showing some promise down the order as well.

India will be equally satisfied with this performance throughout the series where several of their players have stepped up and made vital contributions. They have not been dependent on one or two players, which is their biggest takeaway from this series. Once again, a good all-round performance with both the bat and the ball to take the series 3-0 and take away all points as well. They have a lot of cricket coming up and this series win will only give them confidence going into the season ahead.

Overall, a highly successful tour for India this, first winning the T20I series 2-1 and now the ODI series 3-0. They have been consistent throughout both formats with players stepping up on different occasions. A learning experience for quite a few of the Sri Lankan players who are still finding their feet in international cricket and this will only help them reflect and get better in the times to come!

That is that then. Deepti gets a wicket to her name and the game is done finally. A fighting effort from Sri Lanka to bring it this far but in the end, India have managed to complete the 3-0 whitewash and take away all points as well!
