That is all we have from Sportskeeda's coverage for this encounter. Till the next time, this is myself (Arya Sekhar Chakraborty) biding you a good bye. Cheers!
Kieron Pollard (Trinbago Knight Riders captain): Very satisfying (speaking on the win). The guys bowled well up until the 17th over, We have to just continue to play cricket as we know, we just going do what we are told, try to play to the best of our ability. The way we approached the chase, the Pooran-Tucker partnership was crucial for us and we spoke about how we want to play the innings in two halves. We also talked about finishing games and Russell and I were there in the end to see it off. It's about understanding and knowing when to pull the trigger. We have been preparing very well and we speak about how we want to play and came out with a different attitude today after the loss yesterday.
Sherfane Rutherford (St Kitts and Nevis Patriots captain): For me it was satisfying, wanted to take the game deep, I did it well but we were certainly short of a few runs. Another loss, and we have to regroup and come back better. We lost wickets at crucial intervals, it was a good wicket and the guys need to look in the mirror and try and see what we can improve. Coming against a team that has a lot of power, you can miss your margin as a bowler. We have a few experienced guys in the team, we still have few games and can hopefully turn it around.
Nicholas Pooran, Player of the Match: Just happy that we got 2 points tonight, that's very important. There were lots of chat in the dressing room about our plans and happy that we managed to put words into action. I try to be as consistent as I can be in whichever franchise I represent. He (Tucker) is very talented batter and really excited, and happy that he got the opportunity here. He is approaching 65 but he is playing like 29, he is amazing (speaking on Pollard). He is a legend and teaches the youngsters how to play the game, really special. The crowd support is great here.
Trinbago Knight Riders won by 6 wickets (with 17 deliveries to spare)
That was a thoroughly comprehensive performance from the Trinbago Knight Riders as they registered their maiden victory in this edition of the tournament by thrashing St Kitts and Nevis Patriots by 6 wickets. It wasn't the greatest of starts for TKR as they lost two early wickets in the form of two openers Chadwick Walton and Martin Guptill.
Nicholas Pooran who came into bat at No 3 played a stellar knock and took the attack to the opposition bowlers. He shared a brilliant 73-run stand for the 3rd wicket with Lorcan Tucker. The Irish gave him ample support and batted sensibly. Pooran went berserk from there on and kept finding the boundaries on a consistent basis.
It was Corbin Bosch who brought about his departure but his knock of 61 came in a mere 32 deliveries and had set the foundation for the likes of Kieron Pollard and Andre Russell. Pollard came out all guns blazing and smashed Izharulhaq Naveed for 28 runs in one over which included 4 sixes.
From there on, it was a mere formality as TKR were concerned. Andre Russell also smashed a couple of lusty blows as TKR won with 17 deliveries to spare. For the Patriots, it was Corbin Bosch who was the pick of the bowlers, finishing with figures of 3/22.
17.1 Dominic Drakes to Kieron Pollard, SIX! Pollard finishes it off in style. Short from Drakes, Pollard knew what was coming his way, rocks back and deposits that short one well over the deep backward square leg fence.
Dominic Drakes is back into the attack.

16.6 Blessing Muzarabani to Andre Russell, SIX! That has been powered down the ground for a boundary. Slower delivery in the slot, a tad outside off, Russell picked that early and slams it downtown, goes sailing well over the long-on fence.
16.5 Blessing Muzarabani to Kieron Pollard, attacking yorker from Muzarabani, squeezed away towards the on side for a single.
