Kamaru Usman is one of the most dominant mixed martial arts competitors who has dominated the sport in the welterweight division for years in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Born in Auchi, Edo, Nigeria, Usman moved to the United States of America with his family when he was a kid. He wrestled in high school and ultimately went on to excel as a mixed martial artist.

Kamaru Usman made his professional mixed martial arts debut against David Glover on November 30, 2012, at RFA 5 in Kearney, Nebraska, United States. He won the fight via TKO in the second round. Usman suffered a loss in his second professional showdown against Jose Caceres but recovered in his next fight and maintained a dominant streak of 19 fights for years.
