Tyson Fury was born on August 12, 1988, in a family with Irish roots. He grew up in the Wythenshawe area of Manchester, England. Fury had a sharp aptitude for boxing from a tender age. Belonging to a family that is graced with multiple fighters, Fury was trained in combat sports right from his childhood.

He moved towards the international amateur level and became the EU Junior Champion in May 2007 and the ABA national champion in 2008. In the latter part of that year, he switched to professional boxing at age 20. He announced his professional entry in style into the professional boxing circuit by knocking out Bela Gyongyosi.

Ever since his professional debut, Tyson Fury has only lost once. He also encountered a draw once, but beyond that, Fury has outperformed every rival he has locked horns with until now.

Fury made quick work of Gyangyosi by knocking him out in the first round of the fight. With the win, he started his professional boxing career with an impressive knockout victory.
