Chicago Bears Playoff History
Chicago Bears at the Chicago Bears v Arizona Cardinals game

Based in Chicago, the Chicago Bears are a professional American football team. The Bears play in the National Football Conference (NFC) North division of the National Football League (NFL). The Bears have won one Super Bowl and nine NFL championships, including eight before the AFL-NFL merger. They also own the NFL records for the most retired jersey numbers and the most inductees into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The Bears have a long-standing rivalry with the Green Bay Packers, who have won more NFL titles and victories overall than the Bears.

The Chicago Bears were established in September 1919 in Decatur, Illinois, became professional in September 1920, and relocated to Chicago in 1921. Along with the Arizona Cardinals, which started in Chicago, it is one of just two teams from the NFL's 1920 establishment that are still in existence. Up until the 1970 season, the team's home field was Wrigley Field on Chicago's North Side. After that, they moved to Soldier Field on the Near South Side, which is next to Lake Michigan.
