Justin Quintin Reid is an American football safety playing for the Kansas City Chiefs as of the 2024 NFL season. He is a two-time Super Bowl champion with the Chiefs as of January 2025. He was selected in the third round as the 68th overall pick by the Houston Texans in the 2018 NFL Draft. After playing four seasons with the Texans, he signed a three-year $31,500,000 contract with the Chiefs in 2022 as per Spotrac. As of January 2025, Reid has recorded 580 tackles, ten interceptions, six sacks and 46 pass deflections in his seven-year professional career in the NFL.

Before his professional year, Reid spent three years with the Stanford Cardinals from 2015 to 2017. In those three years, Reid recorded 179 total tackles, six interceptions, one sack and 14 pass deflections as per Sports Reference. He also went to the Dutchtown High School in Geismar, Louisiana where he spearheaded the team to three district titles.

Justin Reid's college career began at Stanford where he spent three years from 2015 to 2017. In his freshman season in 2015, he saw limited action but still managed to feature in 13 games. He had 23 tackles, 1 interception, and 1 pass deflection as per Sports Reference.

In 2016 as a sophomore, Reid played in 13 games he had 57 tackles of which 4 were for loss of yards, and 7 pass deflections. His best performance came in a game against the Oregon Ducks in which he recorded a team-high 11 tackles, 10 of them being solo as per the Stanford Cardinals website. His best season came in 2017 as a junior when he played in 14 games, registered 99 total tackles and recorded his first-ever sack. At the end of the 2017 season, Reid decided to forgo his senior year and entered the 2018 NFL Draft.

Justin Reid attended Dutchtown High School in Louisiana and led the team to three district championships as per the Stanford website. He was a multi-sport athlete and lettered in football, track and field, and soccer. Reid was rated a four-star recruit by 247Sports.
