Antonio Ramiro Romo, better known as Tony Romo is a former NFL quarterback who played 13 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys. He served as a starting quarterback for Dallas from 2006-2015 before leaving professional football in 2016. According to Pro Football Reference, Romo finished his NFL career with 248 touchdowns and 117 interceptions, totaling 34,183 passing yards and a 97.1 passer rating. After retiring, he became CBS Sports' lead color analyst alongside Jim Nantz, replacing Phil Simms.

Before entering the NFL, Romo played college football for the Eastern Illinois Panthers, representing Eastern Illinois University from 1999 to 2002. Romo earned First-team I-AA All-American honors in 2002, Third-team I-AA All-American in 2001, and was a three-time OVC Player of the Year and First-team All-OVC from 2000 to 2002. During high school, he played football as a quarterback for Burlington High School.
