Tuanigamanuolepola Donny "Tua" Tagovailoa, popularly known as Tua Tagovailoa, is an American football quarterback who currently plays for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League. The Miami Dolphins selected Tagovailoa as their fifth overall pick in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Tagovailoa was born in ‘Ewa Beach, Hawaii on March 2, 1998. His upbringing was dominated by an intense fascination for football. He started playing high school football at Saint Louis School in Honolulu Hawaii. In 2016, he was selected to play in the All-American Bowl and finished his regular season with seven interceptions and threw for 2,669 yards with 27 passing touchdowns.
