Alex Pereira's Early Life
Alexsando Pereira was born on July 7, 1987, in Favela. He dropped out of middle school and started working in a mechanic workshop of 12. Due to peer pressure, Pereira became an alcoholic very young. Later, to escape the addiction, he began taking kickboxing lessons in 2009.
In kickboxing, Pereira was a Glory middleweight and light heavyweight champion, which made him the only man to hold two Glory titles simultaneously. Alex Pereira transitioned from kickboxing to mixed martial arts in 2015 at a promotion called Jungle Fight 82 and lost the bout via submission.
