Alexsandro Pereira is a Brazilian MMA fighter who competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He is the former UFC middleweight champion and a former UFC light heavyweight champion.

Alex Pereira has a background in kickboxing and used to compete at Glory, where he was a former Glory middleweight champion and a former Glory light heavyweight champion. He made his UFC debut at UFC 268 against Andreas Michailidis on November 6, 2021. He defeated Michailidis by TKO in Round 2. He has also been a 5-time winner of Performance of the Night. He moved to the light heavyweight division in April 2023. As of March 2025, Pereira currently has an MMA record of 12-3-0.

However, Adesanya would again challenge Pereira for the title at UFC 287: Pereira vs. Adesanya 2 on April 8, 2023. This time, Adesanya would have his revenge and defeat Pereira via a punch, leading to a KO at 4 minutes, 21 seconds into Round 2. Adesanya became a 2-time UFC middleweight champion.
